jayati on every year. Our great leader Mahatma Gandhi(bapu) was born at
Porbandar in Gujarat in the year of 1869. He is remembered for his
unforgettable role in the fight of freedom for India. He was also known as the
"Father of the Nation.” His goal was to build a new society that practices
nonviolent and kind behavior. Its members should be treated similar whatever their
gender, religion, color or caste maybe.
